in for these lots is Tues Sept 22 from 8 am til 10 pm
only. Everything must be checked in on Tues for the Wed
nursery sale. On Wednesday morning, we will sell a few
cages and lab equipment, then go right into the
NURSERY AUCTION. There will be no sales of
Nursery lots prior to the Auction.

BE checked in and priced on or before Wednesday and will
be for IMMEDIATE sale as soon as they are unloaded.
All unsold Swap lots will sell at auction on
Thursday evening.

ANIMAL/ EXOTIC BIRD SALE
(NURSERY):
These
lots (usually) consist of: Reptiles, small caged
animals , as well as all small exotic tame cats
(Bengals, Servals, Caracals, etc.) and Pet Shop variety
birds. Also selling Cranes, Swans. Kangaroo, Wallaby,
Muntjac and Ratite (to name a few).
- THE
SWAP: May
likely include more common fowl and animals
including: fancy chickens, rabbits, ducks, turkey,
geese, pheasant, peacock, chucker, guinea, water fowl and
other species not typically sold in pet shops. (These
lots are seldom listed on this page as we do not receive
advance information from consignors. )

purchased BEFORE or AFTER the
advertised SALE date. You must be present on
SALE DAY to bid on these animals or have
made arrangements one week in advance of the

CONSIGNMENTS ~ 9/17/09

above, left to right: (1). A young pair of
Redbreasted Geese (parents pictured here do NOT sell);
(2). Two young hand fed 2009 Giant Wood Rail
babies - highly intelligent - eat rodents and snakes,
enjoy chasing starlings from food dishes. They are
popular in children's zoo's and will come right to the
front of the aviary. A secure aviary is best as they can
fit through small openings. They have a loud call and do
best where noise is not a problem. (an adult male is
pictured for reference and does NOT sell); (3).
Black-neck Swans; (4).A pair of this year's hatch
Trumpeter Swans; (5). An unspecified number of
this years hatch of Giant Canada Geese - (especially nice
light markings). and (6). Selling a few of this
years hatch of Bar Head Geese.

- proven male Serval 6 years old. Owner says: "he can be
hissy and aggressive at times - other times he is a sweet
cat". AT CENTER: One male Canada lynx -
Skipper is 8 years old, and a proven breeder for
previous owner. Mellow, non agressive, manageable. One
white toe; RIGHT: One female Canada Lynx -
Thelma - born 5-2006 - unproven. Lives with male
lynx Skipper and her sister. No estrus or breeding
observed this past Spring. Both cats are completely
unaltered. No healt hissues, nice, attractive cats,
compatible, but did not produce this past spring. At

cockatoo. Lots of handling and a joy to be around;

an unsexed Timneh African Grey Parrot. Nice bird, very
quiet, always curious - Tame but not hand raised. Various

A 6 yr old Rhesus Macaque Male;
and a
Very tame pair of 3 and 4 yr old Kinkajous. Female should
be about 2 months pregnant by sale date.

Weight about 60 pounds. Dimensions: 44" wide 54" front to
back (at base) 26" tall Front sloped to fit inside a
Chevrolet Suburban. Cage has upper and lower levels, with
an upper level entry hole on the left half to permit
entry to upper deck. Upper level has removable partition
to keep animals separated if necessary. Built in,
non-removable pan, Double carrying handles on front and
rear, Independent front-loading doors. Removable
top.

About 20 Chickens from the McMurray hatchery as the
Rainbow layers. Consignor will also bring older laying
hens and this Springs hatch of Aracauna as well as a few
of this years hatch of pond ducks (pond ducks have no
Muscovy breeding).
